Multi-disciplined, HELEN E. HUYLER, JD, MBA, MSW, a practicing attorney, has a strong personal conviction that improved communication skills can and do increase the capacity for and aid in the process of resolving conflicts.
Her legal practice focuses on MEDIATION and ARBITRATION with major referrals from the courts, the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (securities). She provides limited legal services to nonprofits and small businesses.
Ms. Huyler also serves as a consultant and a workshop and seminar presenter/facilitator on Ethics, Conflict Resolution, Cultural Diversity, Mediation and Race Relations. Her long term participation in the Anti-Defamation League’s A World of Difference Institute program provided extensive opportunities to explore the impact of Diversity in the Classroom, the Campus, the Workplace and the Community.
Ms. Huyler's professional experiences have been in the public, nonprofit, corporate and small business sectors and law school instruction. She was one of the principals in a community-based organization that promoted health and wellness. She has presented seminars on Ethics to licensed mental health and other professionals and has been a legal columnist for local newspapers
